The Dubai Metro experienced service interruptions on Thursday due to a ‘technical issue,’ leading to delays on two routes of the red line.
Passengers should anticipate delays heading towards Centrepoint station and along the stretch between Equiti and Max stations.
During the busy morning rush hour, when trains are typically packed with commuters, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) cited these ‘technical issues’ as the cause of the disruptions. To assist travelers, an alternative bus service has been arranged between the impacted stations.
The RTA has stated that its team is actively working to restore full service as quickly as possible.
