Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has officially renamed a number of Metro stations as part of its corporate naming rights program. The renaming is part of an on-going push to increase public-private partnerships and enhance the passenger experience.
Although the stops and routes are not altered, passengers will now see new branding and station names. For instance, Al Khail Metro Station is now called Al Fardan Exchange Metro Station. The same has been done with other busy stations in the city.
The RTA urges passengers to remain updated and informed through official sources to prevent confusion, particularly during rush hours.
The renaming project is meant to promote alliances while ensuring smooth service for Dubai Metro’s millions of customers.
