Dubai Offers Free Parking During the Holiday of Hijri New Year

admin
SHARE

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) subsidiary Parkin has announced that public parking will be free across Dubai on the occasion of the Hijri New Year (Islamic New Year).

Date of Free Parking:
The free parking will apply on the official Hijri New Year public holiday, giving residents a break from standard parking fees.

Important Notes:
Multi-storey parking facilities are not included in this announcement — regular fees will still apply at these locations.

Normal parking charges will resume the following day after the public holiday.

This annual gesture is part of the UAE’s broader initiative to ease public mobility and celebrate significant Islamic holidays.
