Parents in Dubai now have access to Dibber 4’ALL, a unique center in Al Barsha South designed to support children with special needs. Since its launch, it has gained significant attention and demand, marking a milestone in collaboration between the UAE and Norway.

Specialized Support for Children with Special Needs

The center is staffed by licensed teachers and specialists approved by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA). They offer a variety of services, including speech therapy, occupational therapy, and educational programs tailored to the unique needs of children with special requirements.

Inclusive Learning Environment

Dibber 4’ALL provides an inclusive environment where children with special needs are integrated into mainstream education. This model mirrors successful practices in Norway and offers a streamlined experience for parents. Instead of juggling between nurseries, therapy centers, and clinics, families can find all essential services under one roof.

Nahi Rahal, CEO for Dibber’s MENA region, shared the vision behind the center:

“In Norway, we’ve integrated many children with special needs into mainstream education, which can be challenging. This inspired us to create a specialized facility to support these children. Our goal is to make the transition to mainstream education smoother for them.”

Comprehensive Assessment and Personalized Care

Each child’s journey begins with a detailed assessment to determine the best course of action, whether within the center or in a mainstream school with continued support.

Many children referred to Dibber 4’ALL face challenges like communication delays and behavioral issues. The center’s specialized approach ensures they receive the help they need to thrive.

Growing Demand and Expanding Capacity

The center’s first classroom, which accommodates 10 children, quickly reached capacity within two months. Plans for a second classroom are underway to meet the growing demand. The high educator-to-student ratio (3:1) ensures personalized attention, fostering individual growth and development.

Parents can expect an annual educational fee of AED 40,000, with additional costs of approximately AED 40,000 for therapy services.

Nordic Curriculum with a Local Touch

Dibber 4’ALL follows a Nordic-based curriculum tailored to the region’s cultural needs. Arabic language education is prioritized, reflecting the cultural significance of the UAE.

The nursery features state-of-the-art facilities, including 13 classrooms, an indoor gym, shaded outdoor areas, and dedicated spaces for children of determination. It welcomes children aged 45 days to six years, with specialized programs for children with special needs starting at age two.

Therapy and Collaboration

Children participate in group therapy sessions during regular program hours (7 AM–1 PM). Additional individual therapy sessions are available in the afternoons. The center also collaborates with external clinics and specialists to ensure children receive focused care if needed.

By creating an all-in-one solution for education and therapy, Dibber 4’ALL is transforming the support system for children with special needs in Dubai.
