Dubai’s Event Security Committee has proclaimed complete operational readiness for the Eid Al Adha celebrations. With hundreds of thousands of residents and tourists scheduled to attend events throughout the emirate, authorities have implemented a comprehensive security and emergency response plan. Over 500 patrol units, 34 marine boats, and 18 hospitals have been put on high alert to ensure public safety and a pleasant vacation experience.
The team, which comprises representatives from Dubai Police, Civil Defence, the Health Authority, and other organisations, has developed a comprehensive strategy centred on crowd management, traffic flow, and swift emergency response. Key tourist locations, mosques, malls, and public beaches are being closely monitored to avert incidents and give prompt help if necessary.
In addition to on-the-ground and naval patrols, smart technology such as surveillance drones and AI-powered traffic monitoring will help police maintain security over the Eid festivities. Emergency hotlines and mobile medical units are also prepared to respond quickly to any health-related issues or incidents.
Officials emphasized that public cooperation remains crucial to the success of the safety plan. They urged residents and visitors to follow traffic regulations, avoid overcrowded areas when possible, and report any suspicious activities. The overarching goal is to ensure that families and individuals can celebrate Eid Al Adha with peace of mind and in the spirit of unity and joy.
