In a warm gesture, 21 volunteers from Japan have travelled to Dubai to take part in a unique iftar for children of determination. The celebration, a fusion of cultural exchange with the Ramadan ethos, treated young guests to Japanese cuisine in true form while also embracing inclusiveness and kindness.
The volunteers, who include experienced chefs and cultural ambassadors, served an exclusive Japanese-themed iftar meal to provide children with new flavors while respecting the Ramadan traditions. In addition to the meal, the team also gave thoughtful gifts to the children to make the evening memorable.
Organizers emphasized the importance of fostering cross-cultural connections and providing meaningful experiences for children of determination. The event showcased Dubai’s commitment to inclusivity and its embrace of diverse traditions during the holy month.
As Ramadan continues, such initiatives highlight the unifying power of food, culture, and shared values, reinforcing Dubai’s role as a global hub for community-driven celebrations.
