Dubai is embarking on an ambitious budget cycle for 2025-2027. It has a historic commitment of AED 272 billion aimed at future-ready growth. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, has approved this budget.

This General Budget Cycle was approved under Law No. (23) of 2024. The allocation includes AED 86.26 billion for 2025 alone. It reflects Dubai’s determination to promote sustainable development, enhance quality of life, and strengthen its position as a global hub for innovation.

This budget is projected to generate AED 302 billion in revenues over the three years. It will support the emirate’s vision for 2030. The budget will also align with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 and the Quality-of-Life Strategy 2033. The budget has a special focus on the Education Strategy 2033 and the Dubai Social Agenda 33.

Dubai aims to enrich its social, economic, and technological frameworks. It prioritizes key sectors such as education, health, culture, and infrastructure. The budget aims to promote a vibrant urban environment for both residents and businesses.

Commitment to Social Development and Infrastructure for 2025

In 2025, a significant 30% of the budget will be allocated to social development initiatives. The budget will also provide funds for health, education, youth services, housing, and support for women, children, and people of determination.

Sheikh Mohammed’s directive emphasizes Dubai’s dedication to the community. The government ensures a nurturing environment for all citizens. Moreover, 46% of the 2025 budget is earmarked for infrastructure projects.

The budget will also cover projects like advancements in Al Maktoum Airport and sustainable transport networks. The budget will also lead to the expansion of roads, parks, renewable energy facilities, and rainwater drainage systems.
