Dubai RTA Announces Traffic Delays at Sheikh Rashid–Al Mina Intersection

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced planned road maintenance at the intersection of Sheikh Rashid Street and Al Mina Street, leading to expected traffic delays from 1:00 AM on Friday, May 30, 2025, until 5:00 AM on Tuesday, June 3, 2025.

Motorists are advised to plan their journeys in advance and consider alternative routes to avoid congestion. Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Street, Jumeirah Street, Kuwait Street, 2nd of December Street, and Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah Street are some of the recommended detours.

The roadworks are a component of continuous infrastructure upgrades meant to improve local traffic flow. In the Al Shindagha Corridor, a significant construction project aimed at enhancing connectivity throughout Dubai, the intersection is a crucial node.

It is advised that commuters use official RTA channels to be informed about traffic conditions and factor in additional travel time during this time. As these improvements are implemented, the RTA values the patience and cooperation of the public.
