Dubai Salik Recharge Simplified with Bank Apps and ATMs

Dubai drivers have additional easier methods of recharging their Salik account, courtesy of a new partnership with prominent banks in the UAE. Drivers can easily recharge their Salik balance through mobile banking apps, ATMs, or internet banking sites, making the process easier without the need to go to physical Salik kiosks or utilize recharge cards.

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) assured that the top-up service is totally free of charge with no additional fees charged for availing banking channels. Moreover, drivers can activate the auto top-up feature, which automatically reloads the account when the balance falls below a predetermined level to facilitate smooth movement through toll gates without disruption.

All the major banks in the UAE have introduced the feature, and it is easily available to the majority of the residents. It is a very easy process: just log in to your bank’s application, click on ‘Salik Recharge’ from the payment or utility menu, add your Salik account number and amount, and proceed to confirm the transaction.

The authorities recommend drivers top up their Salik accounts before holidays and peak weekends to steer clear of fines. This convergence is meant to increase convenience and drive the city’s initiative towards smart mobility and digital offerings.
