Dust, Winds, Waves: UAE Weekend Prepares for Bumpy Weather

admin
SHARE

Citizens throughout the UAE must be ready for a bumpy weekend as the National Centre of Meteorology predicts dusty winds, choppy seas, and the possibility of fog development. Dubai specifically will experience gusty northwesterly winds which increase in speed, making conditions low in visibility and unstable for the seas.

Marine warnings have been put out for the Arabian Gulf, where waves are predicted to be high. Authorities have asked seafarers and beachgoers to exercise caution and keep themselves informed with real-time alerts. Swimmers should also steer clear of coastal regions during high tide hours.

Inland, blowing sand and dust are likely to interrupt visibility, particularly in open and desert regions. Drivers are advised to drive cautiously, have their headlights on, and leave ample space on roads liable to sudden dust cover.

With temperatures remaining moderate, humidity is likely to rise overnight, increasing the chances of early morning fog. Citizens are requested to make necessary travel arrangements accordingly and comply with all safety notifications from authorities.
