Dusty Skies, Strong Winds: NCM Issues UAE Weather Alerts

Dusty skies and strong winds are expected to blow across the UAE in the coming days, forcing the National Center of Meteorology (NCM) to issue weather alerts. Residents can expect reduced visibility as conditions may cause disruptions in outdoor activities and travel. There will also be a slight increase in temperatures, making the weather even more unpredictable.

The NCM warned people not to go into the sea since rough conditions are forecasted along the coastline. This means that powerful winds can cause high waves, thus creating ruffles in water that may jeopardize small boats and vessels. Authorities have instructed the residents to check updates and observe safety precautions.

The dusty conditions may also affect those with respiratory sensitivities, the health experts say should limit outdoor exposure and ensure the use of protective masks.
Motorists have been advised to be careful as they drive in reduced visibility as sand and dust may also impede clear road conditions.

During these shifting weathers of the UAE, people are requested to update themselves regarding the advisories from NCM and plan accordingly. Though there may be dust clouds, the slightest temperature rise signifies a gradual transition toward the warmer season of the year.
