The Egyptian Middle East News Agency confirmed that actor Mostafa Fahmy passed away early Wednesday at 82 after a short illness.
The agency mentioned that Fahmy’s family, including his brother, well-known actor Hussein Fahmy, will soon announce the funeral prayer time and condolence arrangements.
Mostafa Fahmy had a memorable career in film, starring in titles like Where Is My Mind, Face to Face, For Whom the Sun Shines, Love in the ICU, and An Appointment with Destiny.
He also made a mark on television with key roles in series like The Bars, I Am Afraid, The Man I Love, Tears in Fierce Eyes, Hayat Al-Johari, and The Heart Sometimes Errs.
