Eid Al Etihad Exclusive: Dubai Beaches Reserved for Families This National Day

Dubai Municipality has launched an exciting initiative aimed at enhancing family experiences during the 53rd National Day celebrations. From November 30 to December 3, four popular public beaches—Jumeirah Beach 2, Jumeirah 3, Umm Suqeim 1, and Umm Suqeim 2—will be exclusively reserved for families. This initiative aligns with the municipality’s vision of creating a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone during the festive holiday.

Ibrahim Mohammad Juma, Director of the Public Beaches and Waterways Department, highlighted the significance of this decision. “By dedicating public beaches in Dubai to families only during the Union Day holiday, we aim to manage the number of visitors to the beaches, which typically see a large influx during public holidays and festivals. This also provides families with the chance to enjoy Dubai’s beaches during the holiday—one of the top tourist destinations in the emirate,” he stated. The initiative is expected to alleviate overcrowding, ensuring better safety and comfort for beachgoers.

To support this effort, Dubai Municipality has put in place enhanced safety measures, including increased lifeguard patrols and clear signage at the designated beaches. Authorities will also monitor visitor numbers and enforce guidelines to maintain a family-friendly atmosphere throughout the holiday period. These measures aim to offer families a peaceful and secure environment to relax and celebrate Eid Al Etihad.

This exclusive family-oriented beach plan not only underscores Dubai’s commitment to creating memorable experiences for residents and tourists but also strengthens its reputation as a leading global destination. Families can now look forward to a wonderful holiday by the sea, confident that their comfort and safety are prioritized. As the nation celebrates its unity and heritage, these family-friendly spaces are set to enhance the joy of Eid Al Etihad.
