As Eid Al Fitr 2025 draws near, numerous UAE residents are preparing scenic road trips to Oman. Preparing beforehand and having the right documents in hand is crucial before embarking on the journey. A valid passport, UAE residence visa, and Oman visit visa are required to enter. An Oman visa may be procured online or upon arrival at the border, based on nationality.

One must also bring their Emirates ID, UAE driving license, and vehicle registration card (mulkiya). If leasing or financing a car, a no-objection letter from the owner or finance company of the car must also be brought along. Ensure your automobile insurance covers Oman or you will need to buy further coverage at the border.

Fees involve visa charges, insurance premiums, and possible tolls, so it’s wise to budget in advance. By having these necessities ready, you can have a hassle-free and enjoyable road trip to Oman during this holiday season.
