Emirates will start operating its newly refurbished Boeing 777 aircraft on a daily basis between Dubai and Riyadh, a move that represents a major boost to one of the region’s busiest routes. The carrier disclosed that the upgraded aircraft will start operating shortly, providing travelers with an enhanced travel experience.
The retrofitted Boeing 777 includes Emirates’ new cabin interiors, such as refreshed economy and business class seats and latest generation inflight entertainment systems. The development is part of the airline’s overall fleet upgrading process in a bid to provide premium comfort and service to passengers.
The Dubai-Riyadh route is one of the busiest in the Gulf, between two key business and tourist centers. Emirates’ move to bring in the new aircraft is an indication of increased demand for upgraded services on short-haul routes.
Emirates’ management emphasized that the daily deployment will enhance connectivity and provide travelers with more convenient, comfortable travel experiences between the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Travelers can look forward to the upgraded 777 operating on the route in the weeks ahead.
