Emirates, the world’s largest international airline, will participate in the 7th Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS) 2024, held from November 13 to 15 at the Sakhir Airbase in Manama.

The airline will display its newly retrofitted four-class Airbus A380, which now boasts a fresh livery and the latest cabin features. This gives visitors a chance to explore Emirates’ upgraded onboard experience, including spacious cabins, the famous Onboard Lounge, the Shower Spa, refreshed Premium Economy, and a range of signature products.

Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and CEO of Emirates Airline & Group, said, “Our participation at the Bahrain International Airshow highlights our strong ties with the Kingdom of Bahrain and commitment to supporting the regional aviation industry.

Displaying both Emirates and flydubai aircraft showcases our optimism for the future and our industry’s growth. We look forward to collaborating with partners to drive positive change.”

The Airbus A380 on display at BIAS will feature 14 private First-Class suites, 76 lie-flat Business Class seats, 56 spacious Premium Economy seats, and 338 Economy Class seats with generous legroom. The dedicated Premium Economy cabin offers 7 rows in a 2-4-2 layout with in-seat charging points and a side cocktail table, making it ideal for both business and leisure travelers.

The double-decker aircraft also features updated interiors, including a next-gen Onboard Lounge and a spectacular Shower Spa in First Class, allowing customers to freshen up at 35,000 feet during their flight. Emirates’ cabin crew will be present to showcase the aircraft’s unique features and answer any questions from visitors.

Emirates is the largest operator of the Airbus A380 and is currently undergoing the largest in-house retrofit program in aviation history, valued at over US$4 billion. This initiative aims to deliver an enhanced travel experience for years to come. So far, 40 aircraft have been fully updated with the latest interiors and best-in-class products across all cabins.

Emirates has been connecting Bahrain to the world since 2000, offering the highest quality service. The airline currently operates 21 weekly flights to Bahrain using its Boeing 777 aircraft, connecting travelers from Bahrain to over 140 global destinations through its hub in Dubai. Since its launch, Emirates has flown over 7.8 million passengers to and from Bahrain on nearly 48,500 flights.

The airline has also sent its Airbus A380 to Bahrain on multiple occasions to meet customer demand during peak times such as holidays and special events. Additionally, the Airbus A380 has been featured at the Bahrain International Airshow on several occasions.
