Five New Tech High Schools for Talented Students Will Open in Saudi Arabia

As part of its efforts to promote innovation and create a workforce prepared for the future, Saudi Arabia plans to launch five new technology-focused high schools targeted at gifted and talented first-year secondary students. Students that show extraordinary talent will receive specialised instruction in STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) at these schools.

The programme is part of the Kingdom’s larger Vision 2030 policy, which places a high priority on technical advancement and human capital development. To foster creativity and problem-solving abilities in young brains, each school will include a tailored curriculum, cutting-edge labs, and mentorship opportunities.

Education officials stressed that the schools are built to help high-achieving kids reach their full potential and prepare them for leadership roles in fields like cybersecurity, robotics, and artificial intelligence. Students will be assessed on their academic performance, aptitude tests, and in-person interviews as part of a competitive admissions process.
