Dubai-based carrier flydubai has unveiled the first look at its state-of-the-art flight training centre, a multimillion-dollar facility that spreads over 38,000 sq. ft. The new center is built to upgrade pilot and crew training. The advanced six simulator bays are built in to reemphasize the airline’s focus on safety, innovation, and operational excellence.

The cutting-edge facility will house full-flight simulators, allowing pilots to undergo realistic flight training scenarios, including emergency response drills, cockpit procedures, and weather-related challenges. With the aviation industry growing rapidly in the region, flydubai’s investment in next-generation training infrastructure is expected to significantly boost its fleet readiness and personnel development.

Located in Dubai South, the training centre aligns with flydubai’s expansion strategy, supporting the airline’s growing fleet and increasing demand for trained aviation professionals. The centre will also cater to cabin crew and engineering staff, ensuring world-class training standards in alignment with global aviation regulations.

With flydubai working on expanding its route network and fleet size, this high-tech training hub will form an important base for the development of the next generation of aviation professionals, which may make Dubai one of the world’s leading aviation hubs.
