Flydubai Warns of Delays as Airspace Congestion Persists

On June 24, regular flights resumed, however Flydubai has issued a travel alert warning customers to expect delays. Due to recent regional tensions and brief restrictions over the Gulf, the airline blames the disruptions on airspace congestion and rerouting.

Until June 30, flights to Iran, Iraq, Syria, and St. Petersburg will not operate. Travellers are encouraged to regularly check the status of their flights before departing. Flydubai stressed that safety is its first priority and that it is keeping a close eye on the situation in conjunction with aviation authorities.
