Dubai Police closed down four printing presses that were responsible for the illegal production and dissemination of massage cards, an age-old public nuisance in places throughout the emirate. The move is among the ongoing attempts by the authorities to curb illegal advertising and related illicit trades.
Illegal Printing Presses Busted
The targeted printing machines were discovered printing thousands of unauthorized massage cards that are usually left on car windshields, pavements, and public places. These cards usually advertise unlicensed massage services associated with illegal and fake operations.
Strict Action Against Violators
Dubai Police reiterated their zero-tolerance policy against such illegal practices, threatening businesses and individuals engaged in printing, distributing, or displaying illegal advertisements of severe penalties, fines, and legal action.
