The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Fujairah saw a high turnout of visitors this Ramadan, recording a total of 62,443 visitors throughout the holy period. Of these, 58,705 worshippers flocked to the mosque to attend prayers and Taraweeh, exemplifying the mosque’s position as the heart of the emirate’s spiritual life.

Besides the worshippers, 677 general visitors made discoveries of the mosque’s architectural splendor and peaceful atmosphere, highlighting the facility’s stature as a religious and cultural icon.

The management of the mosque highlighted that the facility remains to draw various groups, such as families, tourists, and residents, who visit to absorb its spiritual environment and practice communal prayers.

Officials said that increased services and properly coordinated plans for Ramadan helped to increase the turnout, further solidifying the mosque’s image as an important center for prayer and cultural activities in Fujairah.
