Abu Dhabi has unveiled a bold new initiative aimed at grooming the next generation of Emirati leaders through international education. The program will prepare 300 outstanding scholars for overseas studies, equipping them with the academic, cultural, and leadership skills needed to thrive in top universities worldwide.

Launched under the emirate’s vision to build a globally competitive knowledge economy, the initiative focuses on enhancing the readiness of UAE students to meet international academic standards and real-world challenges. Scholars will undergo rigorous preparatory training, mentorship, and language enhancement before embarking on their studies abroad.

The program targets high-achieving Emirati students across various fields—including science, technology, business, and public policy—ensuring they return with global insights that contribute to national development. “It’s not just about sending students abroad,” said an official. “It’s about investing in global citizens who bring value back home.”

Education leaders and parents have welcomed the initiative as a strategic step in advancing the UAE’s human capital and global reputation. With carefully chosen destinations and disciplines, the program aims to forge a new wave of innovators, diplomats, and professionals representing the UAE on the world stage.
