In a significant health campaign prior to Hajj 2025, Saudi Arabia has rolled out a comprehensive multilingual health awareness kit that is intended to safeguard millions of pilgrims set to arrive from all over the world. The health kit, introduced by the Ministry of Health of the Kingdom, is expected to make pilgrims familiar with vital medical advice, tips for disease prevention, and emergency contact details in multiple languages.

The program highlights Saudi Arabia’s eagerness to care for the welfare of Hajj pilgrims, particularly in light of previous health issues like heatstroke, dehydration, and contagious diseases. The health kit will feature clear instructions on personal cleanliness, reminders on vaccination, first-aid guidelines, and what to do during medical emergencies.

Available in more than a dozen commonly spoken languages—such as Urdu, English, French, Bahasa Indonesia, and Turkish—the kit is designed to suit the variety of language backgrounds of global pilgrims. The initiative is part of Saudi authorities’ larger plan to improve Hajj services through digital mediums, multilingual signs, and AI-based health support mechanisms.

The step was welcomed by public health officials as timely and visionary given the size of the annual pilgrimage and the health concerns of mass gatherings. Roll-out of the kits would start at main international airports, Hajj camps, and local health centers in Makkah and Madinah.
