Ras Al Khaimah has been hit by heavy rainfall today as a significant weather system moves across the UAE. Residents have reported waterlogged streets and poor visibility, leading authorities to advise drivers to be cautious on the roads.

According to the National Center of Meteorology, this rainfall is part of a broader weather system expected to affect various regions of the country over the next 36 hours. In addition to heavy showers, the system may bring fluctuating temperatures and strong winds, especially in the northern and eastern areas.

Authorities are urging residents to stay informed about weather alerts and to avoid areas that are prone to flooding. Schools in the impacted regions are prepared for possible disruptions, and public services are actively working to manage water drainage and maintain smooth traffic flow.

While the heavy rains have caused some inconvenience, many residents in the UAE are embracing the cooler weather and the chance to experience rare showers. Social media has been filled with photos and videos showcasing the intense downpour, as people share their experiences of nature’s unpredictability in the region.
