Sole DXB Dubai’s popular contemporary culture festival is returning to Dubai Design District from December 13 to 15, 2024.

This year’s festival promises an incredible lineup of international artists. One such artist that contemporary music fans are looking forward to is Hanumankind, an Indian hip-hop artist who recently took over global music charts, TikTok, and Instagram with his viral song ‘Big Dawgs.

The 31-year-old singer, whose real name is Sooraj Cherukat, recently established himself as an international breakout artist in the hip-hop genre, when his hit track soared past Kendrick Lamar’s Not Like Us and Eminem’s Houdinion on international music charts in September 2024. He also became one of the most-requested artists on radio across the UAE1.

According to an Instagram post shared by the event organizers, Hanumankind will be performing on December 15 on the main stage at the Sole DXB event.

In addition to Hanumankind, the festival will feature Grammy-winning rapper JID, along with Brixton’s producer and multi-disciplinary artist Mansur Brown, Indian producer and R&B artist Sid Sriram, and Atlanta-based hip-hop group Arrested Development. The annual festival attracts a diverse crowd of music heads, trendsetters, and influencers, each year.

This year, festival-goers can expect the introduction of more genres like dance, world, and jazz. Stage front passes will allow closer access to main stage performances1. Timings: Friday, December 13 to Sunday, December 15 from 3 pm to 2 am. Tickets are available on the official website of Sole DXB and the ticketing website Platinum List1.
