The UAE is home to four major cinema chains: Reel Cinemas, VOX, Novo, and Roxy. Each offers options for rescheduling or refunding tickets, but the policies vary. Here’s a simple guide to help you navigate these rules.

Reel Cinemas

Locations: Dubai Mall, Dubai Marina Mall, The Springs Souk.

Rescheduling Tickets:

Visit the box office at least two hours before the movie starts.
Rescheduling depends on seat or showtime availability.
Only tickets purchased without a bank offer are eligible for changes.

Refund Policy:

Refunds are provided as Reel Cinema gift vouchers (not cash).
A Dh5 fee is deducted from the refund amount.

VOX Cinemas

Locations: Multiple spots across the UAE, including Mall of the Emirates, Yas Mall, and Dubai Festival City Mall.

Rescheduling Tickets:

Call the VOX call center at least 30 minutes before the movie starts.
Tickets purchased through bank offers or during promotions cannot be rescheduled.
Changes are valid only for tickets booked via the VOX app or website.

Refund Policy:

No cash refunds; refunds are issued as VOX credits (1 credit = 1 dirham).
Credits are valid for 90 days from the refund date.

Restrictions:

No refunds if the movie starts in less than 30 minutes.
