Dubai has issued a warning regarding parking under metro tracks

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has issued a strong warning to both residents and visitors: parking beneath Metro viaducts is not allowed and may result in your vehicle being towed. This initiative is part of a broader effort to enhance safety and prevent blockages in these areas.

For those who use the Dubai Metro, the RTA highlights the availability of free and secure parking options at various Metro stations. These designated areas offer a safe alternative to illegal parking under viaducts, aiding in the smooth flow of traffic throughout the city.

The RTA stresses that parking violations under Metro tracks can endanger both drivers and the infrastructure. As part of its ongoing public awareness initiatives, the authority is encouraging residents to follow traffic laws and make use of official parking facilities.

By following these regulations, Dubai residents can help create a safer and more efficient urban environment while steering clear of fines and other inconveniences.
