Dubai is to bid a tearful farewell to a long-time resident and prominent Indian expatriate businessman who died in Mumbai. The businessman, who had lived in Dubai for over six decades, expressed his final wish to be cremated in the city he called home. Authorities in both India and the UAE have stepped in to ensure his last rites are conducted in accordance with his wishes.

He was a well-respected figure in the business community, and he contributed significantly to the growth of Dubai while maintaining strong ties with both nations. His death in Mumbai was met with an outpouring of grief from family, friends, and the Indian expatriate community in the UAE. Special arrangements were made to facilitate the repatriation of his remains, which showcased the strong diplomatic and humanitarian ties between the two countries.

With such swift coordination by officials from the UAE and India, his last wish was quickly fulfilled, completing all the necessary formalities to transport him back home. This process shows the deep-rooted connections many long-term expatriates feel towards Dubai, as they consider it their second home. His contribution to trade and cultural ties between India and the UAE will always be remembered with a smile.

His last trip to Dubai is a true testament of how the city remains in love with its expatriate community. He will be cremated in a traditional ritual, where his close family members and those of the community will be in attendance. This marks the importance that the UAE places on giving its people who have spent their lives for the prosperity of the nation the honor that they deserve.
