Indoor Air Pollution Worse Than Outdoor Pollution, Study Finds

A new study has revealed a shocking truth—indoor air pollution can be greater than outdoor air pollution, and it causes serious health threats. The study emphasized the significance of indoor air quality monitoring because daily routines, consumer products, and inadequate ventilation all increase indoor air pollution levels.

The research discovered that toxins from cooking odors, cleaning products, dust, mold, and even the materials used for furniture could build up inside a room and cause breathing problems, allergies, and long-term illness. Since more time is spent indoors these days, poor air quality indoors might be more harmful than outdoor air pollution.

Experts suggest increasing ventilation, employing air cleaners, and decreasing exposure to dangerous chemicals in order to have cleaner indoor air. Regular air quality level monitoring is also able to detect and solve concealed pollution sources in the house.

While the world is concentrating on minimizing outdoor pollution, this research is a wake-up call that indoor air quality also needs attention. With intelligent air monitoring gadgets and green home products, one can take precautions to breathe cleaner, healthier air indoors.
