Apple’s upcoming iPhone 17 could usher in a dramatic redesign and next-level features—but with a steeper price tag. According to credible leakers and tech insiders, the iPhone 17 is expected to be Apple’s thinnest iPhone yet, paired with enhanced AI capabilities and a premium build that could redefine the flagship lineup.
According to sources, the tablet will have a much thinner profile, perhaps as a result of a revised motherboard and battery arrangement. The new design may distinguish it from existing versions by reflecting Apple’s goal of blending great performance with minimalism. In addition, AI enhancements are reportedly in the works, possibly integrating deeper Siri functionality, real-time translation, and smarter photo and video editing.
However, these upgrades may come at a cost. Analysts warn that escalating tariffs and increased production costs—especially with the rising prices of materials and overseas manufacturing—could drive the iPhone 17’s starting price above $1,200 in some markets. That could make it the most expensive base iPhone ever released.
The iPhone 17 lineup is anticipated to be revealed at Apple’s WWDC 2025 or September presentation, while supporters anxiously await formal confirmation. Until then, there is still a lot of speculation about whether the upcoming iPhone will live up to the hype and its high price.
