By securing this win, Punjab Kings asserted themselves as strong title contenders in this season. Their clinical approach in both batting and bowling departments reflects the balance and depth of the team and sends a loud message to their IPL opponents.
With every passing game in the tournament, Punjab will attempt to carry forward their winning streak and bid for the championship spot, and Lucknow would need to regain soon to be part of the playoff race.
