Iran Rejects Involvement in Israeli-Moldovan Citizen’s Death

Iran has denied any connection to the murder of Israeli citizen Zvi Kogan in the United Arab Emirates, according to a statement issued by Iran’s embassy in Abu Dhabi to Reuters on Sunday.

Details of the Case

Kogan, who also held Moldovan citizenship, was reported missing by his family on November 21. During the investigation, authorities discovered his body and identified the suspects involved. According to UAE officials, legal action has been initiated against the arrested individuals.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned the killing, calling it a “heinous” act.

The UAE reiterated its commitment to maintaining societal stability, emphasizing that it would use “all legal powers to respond decisively and without leniency to any actions or attempts that threaten societal stability.”
