Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have officially ended their marriage, with court documents affirming their legal single status as of February 21. The former couple, who rekindled their romance two decades after their initial engagement, have now finalized their divorce settlement.
The celebrity couple, who wed in 2022, had been under constant speculation regarding marital issues in the past few months. Close sources of the couple announced that they had been living apart prior to agreeing on the terms of their divorce.
Lopez and Affleck, dubbed “Bennifer”, initially dated in the early 2000s but broke up before their first 2003 wedding. Their second chance at love ended in marriage, but the union ultimately could not survive the stresses of Hollywood life and personal differences.
Although they broke up, the two stars are said to be on good terms and preoccupied with their individual careers. Fans still speculate if this is the end of the road for the erstwhile iconic couple.
