Thanks to a record-breaking rally in Nvidia’s stock, Jensen Huang has surpassed Bernard Arnault to take the sixth-richest spot in the world.

What Caused This Leap?
China’s breakthrough and the AI boom: After the United States granted licenses for its H20 AI chips to China, Nvidia became the first American company to reach a $4 trillion market cap. This move increased Huang’s wealth by approximately $5–6 billion and added over $145 billion in market value in a single day.

Stake in Nvidia: Huang owns roughly 3% of the company and has a net worth of $148 billion, which puts him ahead of Arnault (approximately $147.9 billion) but still behind Larry Page (approximately $150.6 billion).

A Quick Look at Wealth & Beyond
Updates to the Bloomberg ranking: As of July 16, 2025, Huang’s ascent to 6th place was confirmed by Bloomberg, placing him ahead of Arnault and behind tech titans like Musk, Ellison, Zuckerberg, Bezos, and Ballmer .

Rapid rise: With approximately $27 billion gained this year, including single-day increases exceeding $5 billion, Huang is closing in on Warren Buffett’s $144 billion, earning him a spot among the elite “centibillionaires”
