As flu season approaches, it is essential to protect your family from viral infections. The flu vaccine is one of the most effective ways to prevent influenza, which can cause severe health complications, especially for young children, the elderly, and those with chronic health conditions.

There are numerous healthcare centers where flu shots are offered. In the UAE, they include Emirates Hospitals Group, Clemenceau Medical Center, and NMC Healthcare. A flu shot can be availed for a sum of approximately AED 99 both by adults and children. For pregnant women, health care providers, and chronic disease patients, free vaccinations can be received.

To know if you are eligible for a free flu vaccine, contact your local healthcare provider or visit public health centers in Abu Dhabi, such as Al Barsha Health Centre and Al Badaa Health Centre. You can also book an appointment through the Dubai Health app for your convenience.

Getting vaccinated will protect you and your family and help reduce the spread of the virus in the broader community. Please do not wait until it is too late; schedule your flu shot today!
