The 2025 Product of the Year Gulf Awards’ ‘Biscuits’ category prize went to Kinderini, a delicious snack that combines plain and cocoa shortbread with the well-known Kinder milk and chocolate filling. The prestigious ceremony took place at Dubai Miracle Garden, celebrating innovation and excellence in consumer products across the Gulf region.

Kinderini, which was introduced in October 2024 throughout the GCC, immediately gained popularity among households and provided kids with an enjoyable and easy snack option. A rigorous two-phase evaluation process determines the Product of the Year awards: first, an expert jury evaluates entries based on innovation, design, and function; second, Nielsen conducts a consumer survey in which thousands of people throughout the GCC rate products on innovation, appeal, and purchase intent.

Mauro De Felip, Regional Managing Director of Ferrero Gulf, expressed gratitude for the recognition, stating, “This award strengthens our commitment to bringing an exciting pipeline of innovations to the region. At Ferrero, we aim for greatness through our love of fine craftsmanship and quality. Izabella Veress, Regional Category Director for Kinder Biscuits – GCC, added, “This key milestone is a testament to the product’s commitment to delivering a trusted, high-quality treat that parents and kids love.

Kinderini’s victory highlights Ferrero’s commitment to quality and innovation in the candy industry, while the Product of the Year Gulf Awards continue to honour exceptional consumer goods.
