Sam Pounds Hopes ‘Do No Wrong’ Brings Healing to Fans and Liam Payne’s Family
A new single, “Do No Wrong,” will be released this Friday, by the late Liam Payne of One Direction. US singer-songwriter Sam Pounds hopes that the song brings “a blessing to the world,” especially to loved ones and fans of the late Payne.
Sharing his emotions on social media, Pounds posted the song’s black-and-white artwork of an angel ascending to a broken heart. “I pray this song eclipses negative echoes,” wrote Pounds. He wishes all those affected by Payne’s tragic passing “supernatural positive healing.”.
LONDON – Liam Payne died on October 16 after falling from the balcony of a Buenos Aires hotel at the age of 31. He is deeply mourned by his family, friends, former bandmates, and fans. It was said that he had battled with drug addiction and pressures from stardom.
The “Do No Wrong” track comes in three mixes: live mix, a cappella version, and the original track. Payne’s last solo single was “Teardrops,” released in March. His fans had been waiting for his second album.
After hearing the news of the late singer’s death, Pounds penned a heartfelt tribute. He uploaded a video showing the late singer recording “Do No Wrong” in the studio as a memory of their time together.
