LinkedIn has recently published its much-awaited ‘Skills on the Rise 2025’ report, highlighting the 15 most sought-after skills professionals must have to succeed in the ever-changing job market. As per LinkedIn’s Work Change report, AI is on track to change 70% of job skills by 2030, revolutionizing the way organizations recruit and upskill talent.

The report highlights a combination of technical and soft skills such as AI literacy, analytical thinking, emotional intelligence, and adaptability. Other skills that stand out are blockchain, UX design, and project management, all essential for surviving today’s tech economy.

With AI adoption picking up pace around the world, LinkedIn recommends professionals upskill and expand their skill sets. Organizations are now focusing on employees who can balance technical expertise with effective communication and problem-solving skills.

With companies undergoing a digital revolution, future-proofing one’s career is not longer a choice. LinkedIn’s most recent data encourages job seekers and professionals to get ahead by adopting ongoing learning, particularly in AI and new technologies.
