His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance of the UAE, and Chairman of the Dubai Judicial Council, stated that the impressive achievements of Dubai’s judicial system reflect the visionary leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai.

This vision aims to ensure fast and precise justice, guided by principles of fairness, transparency, and independence, while strengthening Dubai’s position as a global leader.

Sheikh Maktoum emphasized the importance of continuing efforts to achieve excellence in the judicial system. He highlighted that Dubai’s legal services set new global standards, showcasing the city’s leadership in delivering outstanding judicial services.

His Highness also praised the efforts of the Public Prosecution in upholding the rule of law, protecting public assets, and creating a safe environment that encourages development and stability.

Sheikh Maktoum’s comments came during his visit to the Dubai Public Prosecution’s newly built headquarters, accompanied by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports, and Chairman and CEO of Emirates Group.

Also attending were His Excellency Abdulla Al Basti, Secretary General of the Executive Council of Dubai, and His Excellency Abdulrahman Saleh Al Saleh, Director General of Dubai’s Department of Finance. Upon arrival, Sheikh Maktoum was welcomed by His Excellency Chancellor Essam Issa Al Humaidan, Attorney General of Dubai, along with other senior officials.

During the visit, His Highness Sheikh Maktoum toured the new Dubai Public Prosecution building, where he was briefed on the departments that work together to implement the organization’s vision of enforcing the rule of law, safeguarding rights and freedoms, and delivering proactive services through innovative national talents.

The new building is designed to meet international standards, featuring cutting-edge facilities that enable fast and efficient investigative procedures. The building enhances the judicial system’s ability to protect rights while offering high-quality services to the public.

The Dubai Public Prosecution’s new headquarters is home to over 700 employees and includes offices for Public Prosecutors, technical, and administrative staff. Designed for an optimal working environment, the building promotes productivity and excellence.

It also features several meeting rooms, training spaces, and specialized areas such as the Family Reconciliation Room and Juvenile Prosecution. The Family Reconciliation Room fosters dialogue between disputing parties, while the Juvenile Prosecution room supports young individuals through their legal processes.

A dedicated Children’s Room offers psychological counseling in a welcoming and stress-free environment. Additionally, the building includes an on-site nursery for employees’ children and a fitness center, encouraging staff to maintain an active lifestyle and stay motivated in their work.

The building also includes advanced remote investigation rooms and AI-powered communication tools, enabling investigation and litigation processes to be conducted without requiring individuals to physically visit the Public Prosecution offices. This technological innovation allows for more efficient and accessible legal proceedings.

At the end of the visit, Sheikh Maktoum praised the Public Prosecution and all judicial entities for their collaboration in achieving Dubai’s judicial goals. He expressed appreciation for their dedication and commitment to advancing the emirate’s position as a global leader in legal and judicial services.
