Modern Prison Libraries Are Opened by the Sharjah Police Chief to Encourage Inmate Education

The Sharjah Police Chief has opened state-of-the-art prison libraries to promote reading and inmate self-improvement as part of a progressive approach to education and rehabilitation. The program gives inmates access to a wide range of books in different genres with the goal of fostering literacy, knowledge, and personal growth.

The libraries will offer fiction, self-help books, and educational materials to help prisoners develop new abilities and widen their horizons.
