Sharjah Police announced that Dibba Al Hisn Corniche Road will be temporarily closed in both directions on Saturday for UAE National Day celebrations. The closure will affect the stretch between Diwan Al Amiri Square and Heritage Village Square from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

Motorists are advised to use alternative routes during this period to avoid inconvenience.

Earlier on Friday, Sharjah authorities confirmed a five-day weekend for government employees in celebration of UAE National Day.

Public sector workers will enjoy paid holidays on December 2 (Saturday) and December 3 (Sunday), with regular work resuming on December 4 (Monday), as stated by the emirate’s human resources department.
