The Dubai Municipality has opened a vast 10,500-square-meter family park in Al Aweer II. Designed to the highest creative standards, the park combines open green spaces with recreational and service facilities, drawing inspiration from the rural charm and natural environment of the Al Aweer II area. It reflects the geographical and ecological essence of the emirate.

The park hosts different facilities ranging from children’s playing fields, exercise tracks, and athletic apparatus. Different species of regional environmental trees and flowers like Ghaf and Al Shuraish, Plumeria (Indian jasmine), and Albizia give the natural appeal to a recreational area perfect for family interaction time.

Bader Anwahi, the CEO of the Public Facilities Agency at Dubai Municipality, highlighted that the development of public parks and recreational facilities is a key part of their ongoing projects. The objective is to provide world-class infrastructure, services, and recreational facilities that improve the quality of life and well-being of the residents of Dubai.

Through these projects, Dubai Municipality aims to transform Dubai into an attractive and sustainable city by promoting its aesthetic and cultural landscapes and fostering vibrant communities that encourage active lifestyles. A new park should strengthen social bonding among families and community members as well as introduce new investment opportunities to local citizens on their homegrown ventures.
