Residents in Ras Al Khaimah now have a simpler way to get around with the launch of the Sayr app, introduced by the Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority (RAKTA). Sayr lets users plan and book trips across buses, taxis, ride-sharing, and even marine transport—all in one app!

Sayr makes commuting easier and faster for locals and visitors alike. Simply enter your starting point and destination, and the app shows the best travel options to fit your needs. It includes real-time schedules, route tracking, and secure payment options, creating a smooth and reliable transit experience.

“Sayr is a smart gateway for all transportation needs,” says Eng Esmaeel Hasan Al Blooshi, Director General of RAKTA. By integrating public transport, ride-sharing, and even electric scooters, users can easily plan, book, and manage their entire trip in just a few taps.

Currently, Sayr covers all bus routes within Ras Al Khaimah and is set to include vehicle rentals soon, making it a go-to tool for different travel needs. The app follows a Mobility as a Service (MaaS) model, focusing on easy-to-use, connected transit solutions that reduce travel time and costs.

Al Blooshi added that MaaS represents the future of transport, offering a greener, more affordable alternative to personal vehicles. “Sayr isn’t just about convenience; it’s about cutting costs, lowering pollution, and easing traffic—making Ras Al Khaimah more connected.”

With its simple design, Sayr lets users view routes, plan trips, and pay—all in one place. This user-friendly platform reflects RAKTA’s commitment to better public transport, helping Ras Al Khaimah become a more connected and accessible emirate.
