Party Sprays and Car Stunts? UAE Police Warn of Dh2,000 Fines

Abu Dhabi Police took to X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday, reminding motorists and passengers to celebrate UAE National Day safely over the next two days to avoid fines and penalties.

Authorities warned against hanging out of car windows or sunroofs, as violators will face a Dh2,000 fine, 23 black points, and car impoundment for 60 days. This behavior is classified as driving in a way that endangers the safety of both the driver and others on the road.

Party Sprays and Traffic Rules

Police also highlighted that using party sprays by drivers, passengers, or pedestrians could result in a Dh1,000 fine and 6 black points. Residents are urged to comply with safety guidelines during the celebrations to prevent accidents or violations.

Last month, the UAE Ministry of Interior issued detailed rules for National Day celebrations. The guidelines prohibit random marches, stunts, and activities that obstruct traffic.
