As the wildfires continue to rage across Los Angeles, a number of over 300 animals find themselves in a sanctuary at the Pasadena Humane Animal Shelter. Staff and volunteers are working round the clock to provide shelter, food, and medical care for the animals. Some of them have burn injuries.

These fires have caused wide-scale evacuations and left numerous pets and wildlife stranded. Pasadena Humane was quick to help rescue and offer refuge to those animals in need, showing dedication to animal welfare during emergencies.

Shelter Spokesperson Says: “We’re doing all we can in our power for these animals. From cats to dogs and through wildlife species we take it on board, nothing is off bounds here.” For instance, along with this task, the coordination of the said local veterinarians and rescue team has been given due consideration toward managing the ongoing flow.

Pasadena Humane is raising money, volunteers, and donations to keep pushing forward. It was just amazing how it brought the community together amid a crisis. The people are called upon to support the shelter’s mission: to save and rehabilitate the animals that suffered because of the disaster.
