Jind authorities in Haryana have initiated a drive against modified Bullet motorbikes, which have altered exhaust systems producing inordinate noise. The action is aimed at curbing the noise pollution in addition to ensuring road safety in the city. Modified motorbikes, especially with louder exhausts, have been a thorn in the flesh of Jind residents for a long time, resulting in high levels of noise, especially late in the night.

Local police are now carrying out frequent checks on Bullet motorcycles and levying fines on those found in violation of noise rules. Apart from enforcing traffic regulations, the authorities are also calling for greater awareness among the public about vehicle modifications and their effects on the environment. This action follows increased concerns regarding noise pollution, especially in residential and commercial zones.

Motorcycle riders in Jind are now being encouraged to get their motorcycles restored to factory condition or else face sanctions. With the current campaign, local police want to balance keeping the roads safe and keeping the peace in the community.

During this crackdown, the emphasis is on upholding public order as well as informing the public on the need to control noise pollution.
