The Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah has opened its doors to 4,000 mu’takifs (worshippers observing i’tikaf) from 120 countries, marking a spiritually significant moment this Ramadan. The mosque’s administration has made extensive preparations to ensure a comfortable and enriching experience for all attendees.

Mu’takifs are being served iftar and suhoor daily meals, and dinner, to aid their spiritual retreat in the last 10 days of Ramadan. Moreover, every participant is given personal care kits and hygiene items to keep them healthy throughout their stay.

The mosque is also conducting daily religious lectures and sermons given by famous scholars with the purpose of enhancing the participants’ knowledge regarding Islamic teachings. Volunteers are working day and night to provide guidance and support, making this event one to remember for the worshippers.

This effort demonstrates the mosque’s dedication to hospitality and creating an environment of unity and brotherhood among Muslims of various backgrounds, who unite for a divine mission during the holiest moments of the Islamic calendar.
