In a bizarre incident in Rajasthan, 23-year-old Ravina Sain allegedly bit off her husband’s tongue amid a heated household fight before attempting to end her life. The two, reported to be living in constant domestic discord, yet again had another fight that ended in violence within their home.

The police authorities have reported that during the battle, Ravina had bitten her husband’s tongue severely. The husband was taken to a neighboring hospital where he is at present under treatment for injuries. The news had left the neighbors and relatives shocked, with many still attempting to understand the violent turn of events.

Shortly after the brawl, Ravina allegedly tried to commit suicide but was rescued in time and is currently under medical observation. The authorities have registered a case against her under applicable provisions of the Indian Penal Code and have initiated an investigation into the incident.

The event has raised concerns regarding increased domestic quarrels and psychological problems among young couples. Government authorities are encouraging the public to attend counseling and dispute resolution before engaging in acts of violence.
