The leadership of the UAE has sent warm Ramadan wishes to the country and Muslims worldwide as the sacred month commences on March 1, Saturday. The period is one of fasting, prayer, reflection, and coming together for millions of people worldwide.

President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Vice President Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum expressed their wishes for peace, prosperity, and blessings for the UAE people and the whole Muslim world. They emphasized compassion, generosity, and strengthening family and community bonds in this holy time.

Mosques all over the UAE are ready to welcome the faithful to perform Taraweeh prayers, while community associations have initiated charitable projects to offer support to people in need. There have been government announcements on special Ramadan actions, too, such as added prayer rooms, food ration schemes, and regulated working hours for easier fasting and prayer.

As Ramadan arrives, the UAE reiterates its focus on tolerance, acceptance, and humanitarian work, calling on all people to adopt the spirit of giving and generosity for the month.
