A new salary card has been introduced in Ras Al Khaimah to help low-income workers manage their money more conveniently, announced on Friday.

The C3Pay payroll card allows workers in the emirate to receive their salaries without needing to open a bank account.

In collaboration with EdenRed UAE, the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) signed an agreement to roll out this initiative, aiming to simplify salary payments for workers.

Employees can use the card to withdraw cash from ATMs, shop at stores, or make online payments, all without the need for a traditional bank account, according to officials.

Rami Jallad, Group CEO of RAKEZ, highlighted that this project offers financial solutions to workers who often face challenges with traditional banking services.

Wael Fakhrani, CEO of EdenRed UAE, added: “Payroll cards are a practical financial tool, making daily transactions easy and efficient for all employees.”
